How we're supporting care providers
Understanding the costs of care
Please see our response to the Department of Health and Social Care Market Sustainability, Fair Cost of Care Fund and Charging Policy Reform, 2022 to work with our care providers, in Lewisham, to better understand their costs for providing care:
Our response to the Minister of State for Care's request for information on the support we're offering to care homes in the borough
On 14 May, Minister of State for Care Helen Whately MP wrote to all local authorities to ask them to review the support they have in place for care homes and to complete a template and covering letter by 29 May 2020.
Our response highlights how we have continued to work closely with Care Home Providers and members of Lewisham Health and Care Partners to put in place a responsive support offer to care homes which includes training, tailored guidance and support, access to emergency personal protection equipment (PPE), clinical support and financial support.
