Taxicard: subsidised transport for people with mobility problems

Taxicard offers subsidised transport for people who have a serious mobility impairment and difficulty using public transport.
TfL's annual taxi fares consultation

TfL review taxi (black cab) fares every year and want your views on this year’s fares and tariffs. They're also considering changes to fares for journeys beginning or ending at London City Airport.

The consultation is open until Sunday 14 December 2025:

How Taxicard works

Taxicard holders travel in licensed London taxis and private-hire vehicles. The subsidy applies directly to each trip.

You can use your Taxicard any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, subject to taxi and private-hire vehicle availability.
