It can help you decide on a career, training and employment.
The support and advice are free.
Finding the right career
The National Careers Service has lots of information on different types of jobs and careers. It also tells you what skills and training you need for them.
Learn more about your skills
The National Careers Service skills assessment helps you:
- identify your skills.
- find out what you can do with the skills you have.
- find out what interests you.
The assessment takes five to ten minutes.
Finding a course
The National Careers Service’s website lists free courses to help you learn a new skill or change jobs.
- college courses
- GCSEs and A levels
- hobby and leisure courses
- training for 16 to 19 year-olds
