The National Careers Service (NCS) is a publicly funded careers service for adults and young people.

It can help you decide on a career, training and employment.

The support and advice are free.

The National Careers Service has lots of information on different types of jobs and careers. It also tells you what skills and training you need for them.

The National Careers Service skills assessment helps you:

  • identify your skills.
  • find out what you can do with the skills you have.
  • find out what interests you.

The assessment takes five to ten minutes.
