Youth Service - youth clubs and adventure playgrounds

Bellingham Gateway Youth & Community Centre

At Bellingham Gateway there are lots of exciting and engaging activities that will entertain and build the skills and confidence of young people. Regular activities include: table tennis, cooking, roller skating, arts & crafts, homework support, gaming, pool, IT and computer sessions and football.

Honor Oak Youth Club

Honor Oak Youth Club has a wide variety of activities, ranging from sports and games to creative media and training workshops. Regular activities include: dodgeball, 5-a-side football tournaments, weekly girls' group, cooking, arts and crafts and many other games. 

Honor Oak Youth Club is undergoing maintenance works. All Youth Club sessions will still take place at Honor Oak Adventure Playground.

Riverside Youth Club

After several years of redevelopment, Riverside has reopened in Summer 2025 with a new 3G football pitch, sports hall, youth club hall and more.

TNG Youth & Community Centre

At the award-winning TNG you can take part in a wide variety of fun, wall climbing and positive activities. 
Free meals will be available to all young people every Tuesday provided by Legendary Community Club.

Woodpecker Youth Club

Regular activities include music studio, dance, arts and crafts, table tennis, pool, cooking, IT suite, gaming and e-sports, football, boxing and other indoor and outdoor sports. Performing arts classes coming soon.

The Richard MacVicar Deptford Adventure Playground

Explore and have fun on physically demanding but safe wooden outdoor multi-level structure with variety of differently challenging swings. The playground has a basketball court and football pitch There's also an indoor space with facilities to play pool, table tennis, foosball, board games, a multimedia space to play PS5, Nintendo Switch or watch films, arts and craft activities and a mini indoor football pitch.

Dumps Adventure Playground

The large wooden outdoor play structure is built on three levels and features ramps, walkways, swings of varying sizes, rope bridges and hideaways. They are all linked and make a great place for a game of tag. There's also large playing fields.

The site will be closed whilst works are happening to expand. The project is expected to reach completion in late spring 2026, with play facilities available for the summer holidays and school facilities open for the start of the autumn term.

Home Park Adventure Playground

A large outdoor play structure features a trampette, walkways and a triple decker play area. There's also a sports court for basketball, netball and football games. Other activities include arts and crafts, archery and cricket.

Honor Oak Adventure Playground

A fantastic fully staffed adventure playground offering a safe place for young people to come and join in for some adventurous play, make new friends, have fun on the wooden structure. Join in on the rope swings and rope bridges or head indoors for a game of table tennis, computer and arts & crafts.

Ladywell Fields Adventure Playground

A fantastic fully staffed adventure playground offering a safe place for young people to come and join in for some adventurous play, make new friends, have fun on the wooden structure. SEND family sessions – Downham Library

Come and meet other local families and join in with a variety of inclusive activities at Downham Library.

The Lewisham All-Age Autism Wellbeing Hub

A two-year proof-of-concept project that we hope will become a permanent and life-changing service for the borough’s autistic community. The Hub is designed to be a safe, welcoming, neuro-affirming space where autistic people of all ages – and their loved ones – can get the support they need, when they need it.

Here’s what we offer:

  • friendly, accessible advice and signposting before and after diagnosis
  • weekly drop-ins where you can connect, ask questions, and feel seen
  • vibrant social groups for autistic young people, adults, and those who care for them
  • a packed calendar of monthly workshops focused on real-life issues faced by autistic adults and parent carers
  • behaviour surgeries offering practical strategies and support for parents
  • up to 12 hours of tailored case work for autistic people and/or their carers when life gets tricky
  • autism training for local organisations to help make Lewisham more inclusive
  • a regularly updated online directory of autism-friendly services and resources

CASPA Bromley – Life with Autism

CASPA has a family of clubs for all ages from 0 to 25 Years old. All term- time clubs provide 38 sessions per year, in-line with the school term. Club members also receive discounted rates on CASPA holiday provisions and the annual residential trips.

Buzzers Academies

Buzzers school holiday and half term academies are aimed at children aged 5–12 years old and are tailored to suit all sports interests and abilities. If young people require one to one support, please talk to the Buzzers Academies to ensure that can meet the young person’s needs.

Sugarplumz breakfast, after-school and holiday clubs

Legacy Youth Club

Legacy Youth Club run an inclusive session for young people with SEND. The club is equipped with equipment to meet the needs of wheelchair users. If one-to-one support is required, the young person’s parent or carer can attend to support.

Sydenham High Phab Club

A fun and safe environment where teenagers with and without a disability can have fun and socialise with each other. Activities include games, art and crafts, boccia and more. There is space for parents and carers to meet.

Forries Education

Wildcat Wilderness

Wild Cat Wilderness is a community green space in Catford coordinated by the Rushey Green Time Bank, a local charity. It is a natural wilderness off Catford Hill, which you can help shape and get involved in by volunteering. It is your community space where you can explore nature and the wildlife, play or relax in its peacefulness, learn new outdoor skills or crafts, share and enjoy the space with other local people of all ages, cultures, faiths and abilities.

The Phoenix Youth Group for Deaf Children

A team of qualified, experiences and DBS-checked youth support Workers facilitate a wide-range of fun activities.
