Repaying a housing benefit overpayment

Our secure online form is available 24 hours a day. You will be taken to our secure site, where you will be asked for your card details. This system validates your account details before your payment is completed, ensuring that your payment is allocated swiftly. If you give your email address we will send you an automated receipt for your payment.

Direct Debit

If you'd like to pay by Direct Debit, please complete and return the Direct Debit mandate (pdf) to hboverpayments@lewisham.gov.uk.

If you've already got a payment arrangement in place but you'd like to switch to Direct Debit, simply complete and return the mandate. To set up a new repayment arrangement, call the team on 0208 314 8368 to discuss your circumstances, or alternatively complete and return the mandate together with a suitable repayment offer for consideration.
