Visual arts education

The borough is home to Goldsmiths, University of London. The Department of Art has a leading world-wide reputation with many students achieving international acclaim including five Turner Prize winners.

Lewisham Southwark College offers Art and Design BTEC courses, as well as a pre-vocational visual and creative arts programme for adults with learning difficulties.

For children's arts activities contact the Lewisham Arthouse and the Horniman Museum who offer specially tailored courses for youngsters.
