Mindful moves - capoeira

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, music, acrobatics, and self-defence. With our experienced tutor, you will begin to learn the disciplines of capoeira. As you progress, you will develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and self-esteem. In this engaging class you can build positive habits, improve your concentration and confidence, and foster mutual respect. You will be able to really focus on the moment and develop an appreciation for movement and music and the benefits that this can bring to your mental wellbeing. The class will emphasise individuality, self-expression and creativity, so that each of you, regardless of ability, can engage in a way that benefits you.
