Text size
If you find the text on our site difficult to read you can increase the text size in your browser settings. The settings available differ from browser to browser, but most browsers allow you to change the text size, colour and layout.
Adjusting the size on most browsers is found under View or Zoom. Or you can use CTRL+ or CTRL- to make text bigger or smaller.
Website reader
You can use the ReadSpeaker 'Listen' button on every page to hear the content read out to you. This tool also provides quick text-only version of the web pages.
Access keys
Access keys are short cuts to regularly used areas of the site. They are designed to assist users who have difficulties using a mouse or who prefer to use keyboard shortcuts.
To use an access key simply hold down the 'Alt' key + the relevant access key + Enter in Internet Explore and 'Alt' key + 'Shift' key the relevant access key + Enter in Firefox.

Colour contrast
If the combination of text and background colours on the site causes problems with legibility these can be changed within your browser settings. These settings are usually found in the Options or Preferences menus.
Documents
The majority of downloadable documents on our website are in PDF format. To view a PDF document you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download for free.
