Watergate School
Supplementary information forms are not required when applying for this school. Watergate School is a mixed primary school for pupils aged 3 – 11. It caters for pupils with severe learning difficulty and profound and multiple learning difficulty. The school is accessible for non-ambulant pupils. Specialism: Severe learning difficulties and associated learning difficulties such as autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). National Curriculum Level: Across the school, range of attainment is from the earliest levels of development through to early National Curriculum levels for a small number of pupils at Y6. Dual placements: Access to a mainstream curriculum in a mainstream school may be an appropriate part-time placement through a dual placement agreement. Groups of pupils also link with pupils from local mainstream schools to participate in learning activities together.
