'We are helping students achieve qualifications that will open doors to university, training and employment and gain wider skills that will set them apart from others. We nurture resilience, creativity and enterprise, and provide regular opportunities to demonstrate leadership. For example, through our work with Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MiSST), every child is given a violin and taught to play for their first three years.'

Special education needs support:
Pupils must have an Education Health and Care plan (EHCP) or one pending, with a primary diagnosis of deafness/hearing loss and be directed to the Resource Base by the Sensory Teachers Team, Lewisham.
Specialist support offered: Audiological support; Sign language support is provided if required. Pupils are supported by a Teacher of the Deaf, communication support worker or specialist teaching assistant, as needed. Speech and Language support is provided if needed. Provision must be agreed within an EHCP.
