Grass verges
We cut the grass on all council-owned land along highways and verges. We also cut the grass in parks, cemeteries and town centres.
Across the borough, we're trialling a new management regime on some grass verges that are friendly to nature with the aim of boosting biodiversity in the area. Read more about the No Mow Zone initiative.
