Adult social care survey - share your experiences

Some people who use adult social care services will receive a letter from us in the next couple of weeks, encouraging them to take part in a national annual adult social care survey led by the NHS.

The NHS asks local authorities to help run this survey every year so that they, and we, can better understand how services are helping people to live safely and independently in their own homes, and the impact that these are having on their general health and wellbeing.

While not everyone who uses adult social care services will receive the survey, we’re encouraging anyone who does to respond, as it will help us as well as the NHS nationally to understand where services are working well and identify areas where they can be improved.

The more people who take part, the more useful the results will be. People can complete the survey themselves or can ask a family member or carer to assist them in completing the survey.

The results of the national survey will be published later this year by NHS Digital
