Clinics in Lewisham

Lewisham Sexual Health Services are run from the two sites below and we now now offer a walk-in service at both.

Please be aware that the walk-in operates on a first come, first served basis and that we will operate a slot-system (meaning after booking in you may be asked to return later in the day). This is to reduce your waiting time in the clinic. Walk-in slots are dependent on our capacity and not available to booking by phone.

The walk-in service at Hawstead Road provides:

  • treatment for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes and warts
  • contraception including coil and implant insertions or removals and depot injections
  • treatment and testing for contacts of infection with no symptoms

Please note we do not have a microscope at Hawstead Road, so we will not be able to see patients with symptoms of discharge.

The walk-in service at the Waldron Health Centre provides:

  • treatment for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes and warts
  • contraception including coil and implant insertions or removals and depot injections
  • treatment and testing for contacts of infection with or without symptoms
  • provision of PrEP and PEPSE

There are still limited appointments that are bookable online.

Saturday will remain an appointment clinic with bookings made by telephone from Thursday of that week.
