If an item is on loan or at another branch, you can reserve it.
Our online catalogue lists all the material available in Lewisham libraries as well as books available though The Library Consortium. You will receive a notification when your reservation is ready for collection.
Reserving digital items
You can reserve ebooks online or through the RB Digital or Overdrive apps.
Overdrive
Reserve up to five ebooks/audiobooks.
RB Digital
Reserve up to four ebooks/audiobooks. Comics and magazines are available for immediate download with no waiting times.
What you can reserve
You can reserve books, language courses, DVDs and music CDs.
What you pay

Adults pay 50p per item.

Under 14s do not pay for reservations.

There are no charges for reserving digital items.
How many items you can reserve
- You can reserve up to four eBooks and/or eAudio at a time from OverDrive.
- You can download and checkout newspapers, magazines and graphic novels in RBDigital and PressReader an unlimited number of times.
- For all other items you can reserve up to 30 at a time.
How to reserve a library item
You can reserve items by telephone, at your local library or online.
You will need your library barcode number and PIN. To get your PIN contact your local library.
