Care home detail

Athol House - Care Home Physical Disabilities

Athol House is a home providing a range of services for adults with physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

Athol House is a two storey home situated in a quiet residential area of Crystal Palace, south London. It is surrounded by trees and has a quaint village atmosphere. The home is close to an array of local shops and has great train links into central London. Local attractions include Crystal Palace Sports Centre, the Horniman Museum, Brockwell Lido and a choice of green open spaces.

Our residents ensure their home has a welcoming and lively atmosphere. We don’t have a formal activities programme within the service – at Athol House it is worked around individual requests from the residents.

Activities can include arts and crafts, music therapy, gardening, massage and reflexology. There are also events held in the home such as parties, movie days, barbecues and Christmas celebrations, to name a few.

Our fully-trained staff are committed to ensuring that everybody is happy in their home. We pride ourselves on putting our residents first, supporting everybody to be both independent and to participate in the local and home communities as they wish.
