If you don't extend the loan period for a book, language course or music CD you will be fined for every day the item is overdue. Half rates apply for those aged over 60, and no charges apply for children under 14. See our fines.
Digital books are returned automatically at the end of the loan period.
DVDs cannot be renewed and must be returned by the due date. If these items are returned late, the library will charge the full hire fee for the period that they have been kept.
