Capita survey of Lewisham Council properties in the Brockley area
This contract, which has been in place since 2007, is due to end on 3 June 2027, at which point Lewisham Council is proposing to take over direct management of these homes.
This survey is to make sure maintenance has taken place and your homes meet the required standards set out in the contract.
The survey will cover the external parts of your home, communal areas, and for tenanted dwellings the surveyors will need to see inside your home. You should have received a notice informing you of the upcoming surveys taking place from 22 September to 17 October 2025.
Capita surveyors, supported by Lewisham Council and RegenterB3, will visit your property once between these dates.
RegenterB3 will arrange a time and date with you (via text) for the Capita surveyors to visit your property and undertake their surveys. RegenterB3 will arrange a morning or afternoon time slot on one day.
Capita surveyors will carry photo ID and you will receive a letter in advance.
The surveyors will undertake a condition survey of your property, including measurements and photographs of each wall in each room, the intention being to record the condition and identify any repairs that are necessary. We kindly ask that prior to their visit, you remove any personal photographs or identifying information from the walls that you don’t want photographed.
The surveys are being undertaken as a part of the normal property management agreement between Lewisham Council and RegenterB3, and will not reflect any information regarding residents.
In the event that you are not at home, the surveyor will leave a card with contact details to arrange another time for his visit. Surveys will take between one hour to two hours, depending on the size and complexity of your home.
