Find out who your Housing Officer is and how to contact them
What your Housing Officer can do for you
- Support you to sustain your tenancy by helping to resolve issues early, and work with other teams and agencies to support you
- Identify vulnerable residents and help connect them to support services
- Respond to and escalate safeguarding concerns to keep residents safe
- Help with changes to your tenancy, such as successions, assignments and mutual exchanges
- Take reports of antisocial behaviour and nuisance, escalate cases appropriately, and work with mediation partners
- Offer advice on moving home, including transfers and mutual exchanges
- Work with tenants’ and residents’ associations and attend meetings where required
- Deal with breaches of tenancy, including taking legal action and attending court
- Carry out Person‑Centred Fire Risk Assessments for those residents who are concerned about being able to evacuate in the event of a fire.
- Carry out estate inspections, upon request to identify and feed back on any concerns
- Carry out Home Checks to ensure residents’ information is up to date, identify any vulnerabilities or safeguarding concerns, and verify that properties are in good condition

You can find who your Housing Officer is on the Housing Portal under My Accounts > Account, Property and Transaction Details.

You can also use our interactive map to find out who your Housing Officer and Caretaking Manager are, as well what days your estate is cleaned and when bulk waste is collected.
