Combating Drugs Partnership

Lewisham’s Combating Drugs Partnership (CDP) is a multi-agency forum established to implement the national drug strategy, From Harm to Hope.

From Harm to Hope is a 10-year drugs plan to cut crime and save lives by reducing the supply and demand for drugs and delivering a high-quality treatment and recovery system.

Who is part of the Combating Drugs Partnership?

The CDP is part of the Safer Lewisham Partnership and reports to the Lewisham Health and Wellbeing Board. Members include but are not limited to:

  • local authority
  • NHS
  • police
  • treatment services
  • probation services
  • people affected by drugs and alcohol
  • prisons and youth offender institutions
  • housing providers
  • voluntary and community sector organisations

The CDP has several active subgroups that align with the core drug strategy priorities and address local needs to deliver for Lewisham.
