Driving

We don't recommend driving to the fireworks. A number of nearby roads are closed during the display and parking is extremely difficult. Find out about road closures.

Parking for Blue Badge holders

Blue Badge parking is available on Talbot Place via Goffers Road, and in Goffers Road on the day of the display. You can get to Goffers Road from the A2/Shooters Hill Road. You won’t be able to enter Goffers Road from:

When you arrive at Goffers Road a member of our security team will direct you to a parking space. You will be asked to park facing the exit to make it easier to leave at the end of the event. The surrounding roads can become very congested during the hour before the event and it can be difficult to turn in from the A2 immediately before the event.

Blackheath Fireworks rules

  • Do not take your dog to Blackheath during the fireworks. It is very noisy and the general advice is to keep all pets indoors at this time of year.

  • Do not bring your own fireworks, including sparklers and sky lanterns, onto the heath.
