Recruitment drive for foster carers kicks off

We are seeking new foster carers, or carers who already foster local children through independent fostering agencies, to provide a home for some of the 500 children per year that require foster care in the borough.

Our recruitment drive is being launched at the start of Foster Care Fortnight an annual campaign – running from 13–26 May this year – to raise the profile of fostering and to show how foster care transforms lives. We will be raising awareness with a borough-wide advertising campaign as well as running drop-in information events.
