Get housing advice
We are experiencing issues with our online service for housing benefit and council tax reduction which may mean that you cannot access your account later in the day. Please keep trying, ideally earlier in the day, whilst we investigate.
Complete the AdviceAid questionnaire to get advice about:
- how to solve problems affecting your housing situation
- what to do if you have been asked to leave your property
- how you can find somewhere else to live
- how we can help you.
You don’t need to give any personal details about who you are or where you live.
Worried about homelessness?
If you are at risk of homelessness, you can apply for assistance through our online referral system– the Housing Assistance Referral Portal.
We will refer you to one of our Housing Solutions Officers who will assess your application by phone. We will work out what your needs are and give you advice on the next steps to take.
If you need urgent housing advice and are currently homeless, please contact our call centre on 0208 314 7007.
You may have received written or verbal notice from your landlord/ friend/ family member. If this has not already expired on the day that you call us, you will be directed to complete a self-referral form on the portal.
