ReSound Lewisham: just two weeks left until submission deadline

You have two weeks left to apply to ReSound Lewisham, a borough-wide digital festival and competition of song and spoken word where you can win a 1:1 mentoring session with world famous poet Kae Tempest.

ReSound Lewisham is a showcase of creativity, a digital festival in celebration of Lewisham’s vibrant music and spoken word scene.

The competition comprises of three categories: original song, original spoken word/poetry and cover song. Each category is then divided into two separate age groups: 11–17 years old and 18 years plus. The industry panel will shortlist entries and the winner from each category will be decided by public vote with some exciting prizes and opportunities.

The competition is supported by many local businesses and artists including Brit award nominee, spoken word performer and poet Kae Tempest.

The competition now just has two weeks left until submission deadline on 11:59pm on Saturday 5 September.

There will be a multitude of prizes from recording time in a professional studio, Apple I-pads, air time and even a one-on-one mentoring session with Kae Tempest. You can enter ReSound Lewisham online now.
