Landmann Way now open

Rubbish and recycling services are delayed due to a fire at Landmann Way on Monday 8 June.

Please continue to put your bins out as normal.

If you have booked a bulky waste collection, leave your items out as planned. We will collect them as close to your scheduled time as possible.

Our teams have been busy, working hard to clear as much as they can around Landmann Way. Once we’re able to access the area fully, we’ll carry out a further clean-up and remove any remaining debris in the surrounding streets and parks. If you spot debris, please report it using the Love Clean Streets app or 020 8314 6000 for urgent issues.

Following discussions with the site operator, we currently have no indication that asbestos was stored at this location. However, we are treating any reports of suspected asbestos with caution and will investigate them promptly. Our teams are on standby to respond, and where there is any uncertainty or risk, we will engage a specialist contractor to assess and manage the material safely.

Where reports relate to private land, we will also ensure the relevant landowners and partners are notified so that appropriate action can be taken.
