Tickets now on sale for Blackheath Fireworks 2026
After last year’s triumphant return, Blackheath Fireworks is back, bigger and better than ever before with more space, more entertainment, more food and more rides to wow the thousands expected to flock to Blackheath Common on Saturday 7 November. General ticket sales open today, Tuesday 8 September.
Organised by Slammin Events, southeast London’s biggest Bonfire Night celebration kicks off at 5pm with 40,000 Londoners expected to enjoy a jaw-dropping fireworks display and a huge host of festivities that run all the way through until 10pm.
In the Big Top, music fans can dance into the small hours as UK Garage stars DJ Luck & MC Neat and club legend Brandon Block take over. Massaoke returns after proving a crowd favourite in 2025, alongside the Lords of Lightning and their spectacular electrical arc show. The Big Belly Comedy Club will round out the line-up with performances from leading comedians.
The fairground will offer something for everyone, from family-friendly rides for younger visitors to bigger attractions for those looking for a thrill. This year’s Street Food Village boasts even more local food vendors and an increased number of bars around the festival site, meaning queues for drinks, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be at an absolute minimum.
New for 2026, and a precursor to next year’s People’s Day, is the People’s Stage, which will celebrate the borough’s incredible local talent. The stage is being launched by Cllr Rotimi Skyers – Lewisham’s Cabinet Member for Children, SEND, Youth Empowerment and Culture – who said:
“The People’s Stage is a chance to celebrate the creativity, talent and community that makes Lewisham such a special place. We’re inviting local performers, artists, musicians, dancers, community groups and organisations to help shape this year’s Blackheath Fireworks and shine a spotlight on the amazing diversity of our borough.
“It’s about giving residents a platform and bringing communities together through culture and creativity. Keep an eye out for opportunities to get involved as we get ready for the return of People’s Day in 2027.”
Last year’s event sold out within weeks. With even more people expected to attend this year, organisers have expanded the site and introduced three main entrances – Blackheath Gate, Lewisham Gate and Greenwich Gate, helping more visitors enjoy a great-value night out.
Tickets are on sale via the Blackheath Fireworks 2026 website. Comparable in cost to a trip to the cinema or bowling alley, prices start from £5 for under-10s, £10 for 11- to 15-year-olds and £16 for adults, with family ticket options available, including for single-parent families. Organisers are urging people to book early to avoid disappointment. A number of tickets are also being reserved for local families on low incomes, more details to follow soon.
