Support Lewisham Donation Hub at Beckenham Place Park this winter

There is now a Lewisham Donation Hub collection point at The Homestead Café, making it easy for visitors to give back, while they enjoy the festivities at Beckenham Place Park.
The donation point, located in the Courtyard next to the coffee collection area, is accepting winter coats of all sizes and Christmas gifts for children, teenagers and adults. All donations will go directly to families in need across Lewisham and beyond.
When you visit The Winter Gardens for ice skating, crazy golf, fairground rides and shopping, please do drop into the Courtyard to support the Mayor’s Charity and help those in need. If you can’t donate in person, you can still support the Hub by making a financial contribution online.
Enjoy the park this Christmas while supporting a fantastic local charity that makes a real difference to so many people. While you’re there, show some love to our brilliant local businesses – treat yourself to delicious food and drink at The Homestead Café, browse beautiful gifts at Nor store and spoil your pets at Eddie’s Dog Shop.
Plus, don’t miss the free festive family activities:
- Robin trail: Collect a trail sheet from the Homestead Café and go looking for our painted wooden robins around the garden and play area to crack a festive code!
- Ranger walk and talks: Go on a walk and talk with Ranger James round the woods. Meet at the Gardener’s Cottage in the formal gardens (near the play area and carpark) Walks will last between 60 to 90 minutes, ending in the Homestead Courtyard.
