Music Jerk ‘n Tings
Celebrate Caribbean culture with a vibrant, family-friendly day of food, music, and fun. Enjoy live performances on the Bandstand, savour jerk, vegan, and veggie dishes from top chefs, and dance to calypso, reggae, and dancehall beats from talented DJs. Explore games and a lively arts and crafts market featuring local makers. Saturday 16 August from 1pm until 6pm at the Bandstand (Horniman Museum and Gardens). Parlez Culture Jam Carnival
Experience the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean in Brockley with live Steel Pan, Carnival dancers, Caribbean food, and legendary DJs like Sir Lloyd Coxsone and Melvina Moves spinning Reggae, Soca, and more. Enjoy indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family on the car-free space at Coulgate Street, right next to Brockley Station.Saturday 23 August from 2pm until 11pm at Parlez, Brockley. Free entry. Beer Festival 2025
After a brilliant first beer festival last summer, the Beer Festival return to the Homestead in Beckenham Place Park. Expect live music from The Big Swim Big Band and DJs all afternoon. Come and support local brewers: BR3WERY, Drop Project Brewing, our award-winning Ignition Brewery, The Inkspot Brewery, The Kernel Brewery, Orbit Beers, Small BeerCo and Three Hounds brewery.Saturday 23 August from 12pm until 7pm at Beckenham Place Park. So Last Century's Vintage Market 10th anniversary
Celebrate ten years of the So Last Century Vintage and Retro Fair. This vintage market pops up almost monthly at several venues across south London and has become a regular fixture in London’s vintage calendar.

Big Band on the Bandstand
Soak up the sounds of summer as the South London Jazz Orchestra take to the stage on the historic Horniman Bandstand. With delicious street food, classic picnic boxes and chilled drinks available, bring your friends and family for a relaxed summer evening.

Pop-up Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet disco party
Join a free, family-friendly afternoon disco party in the Beckenham Place Park outdoor courtyard. Groove to DJ Lord Anthony on the decks and join in on dancing lead by Lady Boo (find out more about the Haven’t Stopped Dancing team).
