Got an empty home? Come and talk to us

At a time when homes are badly needed, we want to see empty properties in Lewisham brought back into use.

Our Empty Homes team is holding two advice surgeries at Laurence House on Wednesday 7 October, 10am to 12 noon, and Thursday 8 October, 2pm to 4pm.

Empty homes can fall into disrepair and become a problem for neighbours, while also leaving much-needed housing unused. We want to work with property owners to help bring empty homes in Lewisham back into use.

If you own an empty property and aren’t sure what to do with it, come along to one of our free, confidential empty homes surgeries at Laurence House, Catford. Our team can talk through your circumstances and the options and support that may be available.

The surgeries take place on:

  • Wednesday 7 October, 10am to 12 noon
  • Thursday 8 October, 2pm to 4pm

There’s no need to book. Just report to reception when you arrive.

You can also help us tackle empty and derelict homes by reporting a property you believe has been left empty. We’ll investigate and work with the owner to try to bring it back into use, and we can take enforcement action when empty properties fall into disrepair or cause problems for the local community.
