Accessibility tools

Our website has been developed to WAI accessibility guidelines and we work hard to maintain and improve the standard of the content and ensure that it is accessible to the widest possible audience.

Text size

If you find the text on our site difficult to read you can increase the text size in your browser settings. The settings available differ from browser to browser, but most browsers allow you to change the text size, colour and layout.

Adjusting the size on most browsers is found under View or Zoom. Or you can use CTRL+ or CTRL- to make text bigger or smaller.

Website reader

You can use the ReadSpeaker  'Listen' button on every page to hear the content read out to you. This tool also provides quick text-only version of the web pages.

Access keys

Access keys are short cuts to regularly used areas of the site. They are designed to assist users who have difficulties using a mouse or who prefer to use keyboard shortcuts.

To use an access key simply hold down the 'Alt' key + the relevant accesskey + Enter in Internet Explore and 'Alt' key + 'Shift' key the relevant accesskey + Enter in Firefox.
