A poll to elect a ward councillor for Crofton Park will take place on Thursday 18 June 2026.

How to vote

At your polling station

Poll opening times are 7am to 10pm.

If you vote at the polling station, you must bring photo identification (ID):

By post

You don't need ID to vote by post. The deadline to apply for a postal vote is Wednesday 3 June 2026 at 5pm:

Who can vote

To vote in these elections you must be:

  • registered to vote by Tuesday 2 June 2026
  • a resident of Crofton Park ward or a registered Crown servant or service elector in respect of an address in the ward
  • age 18 or over on polling day

Key dates and deadlines

Tuesday 2 June:

  • last day to register to vote

Wednesday 3 June, 5pm:

  • last day for us to receive your postal vote application
  • last day to cancel your postal vote
  • last day to change existing proxy arrangements

Wednesday 10 June, 5pm:

  • last day for us to receive new proxy vote applications
  • last day for us to receive your Voter Authority Certificate application

Friday 12 June:

  • first day to reissue replacement postal votes

Thursday 18 June:

  • polls open from 7am to 10pm
  • ballot papers counted at 10pm
