Waterlink Way update
We're making good progress on the new bridge at Waterlink Way.
Work on the western side of the bridge is now complete, and landscaping is underway. This area won't be affected by the bridge installation.
The permanent bridge is due to be delivered and lifted into place during the week beginning Monday 26 October. Once it's installed, the temporary bridge at Winsford Road will be removed and landscaping work will be completed on the eastern side.
These final works are expected to take around two to three weeks. We currently expect the new bridge to open in mid-November, giving residents and visitors a new route across the area.
We'll be able to confirm the opening date once the bridge has been successfully installed.
