Now is the time to recognise the local businesses that make Lewisham special by nominating them for the 2026 Mayor of Lewisham Business Awards.

Held annually, the awards celebrate the businesses that help our borough thrive, from independent cafés and retailers to innovative start-ups, creative businesses and social enterprises.

Whether it’s a café that always goes the extra mile, a sustainable business making a positive impact, or a young entrepreneur bringing fresh ideas to the borough, this is your chance to recognise their achievements.

This year features 12 public-vote award categories celebrating the diversity and strength of Lewisham’s business community.

All businesses based in the borough are eligible to enter, including online businesses operating from Lewisham.

Nominations are now open and close at 9am on Monday 3 August. Winners will be revealed later this year at the Mayor of Lewisham Business Awards ceremony.

Whether on our high streets, in our town centres, online or behind the scenes, they create jobs, bring people together and help our communities thrive. These awards are backed not just by the Council, but by our communities too. Last year saw more than 10,000 nominations and votes, showing just how much local people value the businesses that make Lewisham special.”
