Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN)
LRMN is a charity which aims to improve the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Lewisham and neighbouring boroughs, by providing vital services and information. We provide: - Information and advice – on immigration and welfare benefits, housing, health, debt, employment. - Violence against women and girls – one to one counselling, arts therapy, dance and movement therapy, and weekly workshops. - Gathering for women who have experienced trauma due to torture, conflict of war and/or gender-based violence, including rape, trafficking, domestic violence. - Training and employment programme – developing CVs, job search, improving interview techniques, job brokerage. - ESOL classes, literacy classes, homework club. - Food parcel distribution, hardship fund distribution.
