LGBTQ+ young people

LGBTQ+ young people (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or those who are questioning their sexuality or gender identity) can get support from METRO charity and its youth service, METRO Youth.

What they do

The service provides youth groups where LGBTQ+ young people can socialise and join in activities with others: 

  • Lewisham: Live– a group for those aged 16–25 meeting every Wednesday

  • Bromley: Snap– a group for those aged 16–25 meeting every Thursday

  • Greenwich: Shine– a group for those aged 16–25 meeting every Tuesday
  • Greenwich: Zest– a group for those 11–16 meeting every Friday
  • Southwark: Spark– a group for 13–19 year olds meeting every Wednesday
  • Lambeth: Star– a group for 13–19 year olds meeting every Friday.
