Your bins
If you live in a house, or a flat in a converted house, we will give you:

a 180-litre black wheelie bin for rubbish

a 240-litre green wheelie bin for recycling

a 23-litre silver bin for food waste and a five-litre silver kitchen caddy.
How to use your bins

Only use your rubbish bin for waste that you can’t recycle. Find out what you can put in your recycling and food waste bins.

We will collect your recycling and food waste every week, and your rubbish every other week.

Put your bins at the edge of your property on, or by, the pavement before 6am on your collection day.
Garden waste
Garden waste collections
You can sign up for weekly garden waste collections. This costs £80 for collections from 1 April to 31 March the following year.
Home composting
You can buy a 220-litre home composting bin for £10.
