Call for expressions of interest for BAME community insight work
Insight work into BAME health inequalities
The Lewisham Health and Wellbeing Board (HWBB) has identified three priority areas for the new BAME inequalities action plan:
- mental health
- obesity
- cancer.
Lewisham Public Health is undertaking insight work to understand BAME communities’ views on obesity.
Lewisham Public Health is now calling for expressions of interest from organisations with a deep understanding, lived experience or significant links with BAME communities in Lewisham to carry out insight work looking in to obesity, nutrition and physical activity.
This will inform our development of key policy and strategy areas, and future commissioning intentions.
