Targets and reporting

In November 2012 we signed up to Climate Local, a local government initiative to drive, inspire and support local action on a changing climate.

The actions that we intend to carry out as part of its commitment to Climate Local are set out in the action plan below. This includes a borough-wide carbon reduction target of a 44% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2020.

We report annually on our carbon footprint and use of resources to monitor performance and transparently demonstrate our commitment to the environment.
