Council tax – request a refund

Who should use this form

Use this form if you are the only person named on your council tax account who is liable to pay council tax. If there is more than one liable person on your account, print the form below and send it to us using the submit evidence form or by post.

Before you complete the form

To request a refund you will need to log into your My Lewisham account. If you don’t have one already, please click 'Log in and request a refund’ below, then choose 'register' and follow the instructions to create your account.

Refunds will be processed within 10 working days.

How to complete the form

After you log in you can complete the form. It should take between five and 10 minutes to complete. You will need to tell us:

• your council tax account number
• the bank details of the account where the refund should be sent.
