Borough wide effort

Across the country, a coordinated response is mobilising which will see the military providing essential deliveries. As well as councils, the police and fire services focusing on delivering critical services. Additionally, hundreds of Lewisham Council staff in non-critical services roles will be stepping up to support the borough-wide effort alongside local volunteers.

Car parking for key workers 

NHS staff working in hospitals, social care staff, and other key workers will be provided with free car parking to allow them to carry out their vital work. For further details on the temporary parking permits for COVID-19 key workers see here.
