How EU citizens can register to vote for the European elections in the UK

Find out how EU citizens can register to vote in the European Parliamentary elections.

If you are an EU citizen registered to vote in the UK, you are not automatically registered to vote at the European Parliamentary election on 23 May 2019. European Union citizens can choose to vote in the UK or their home country at this election. We are sending a registration form (pictured below) to all EU citizens who are on our electoral register. You must complete this form if you wish to vote in the UK.

Complete and return the form sent to you in the post. The deadline to apply is midnight on 7 May 2019. Return this form by email or mail to Electoral Services, Laurence House, Catford, SE6 9SE.

What you should do if you want to vote in your home country

Do not return the form we have sent. You can find out how to register in your home country on the European Parliament website.
