Polling district review

We have to review our polling districts and stations every five years.

We are now consulting and want your feedback about where you go to vote.

Polling districts consultation

We are consulting on our review of polling stations and districts. We are consulting from 1 September–1 October and we want your views.

You can take part if you:

  • live in the borough of Lewisham
  • are on the electoral register.

We especially want to hear from those with mobility issues.

Take part in the consultation

Have a look at the document below outlining our proposals. They are also available in all libraries in the borough and at the electoral services office.

You can disagree with our suggestions or make your own suggestions – these are referred to in the document as representations.

If you want to reject any polling stations in the report you should suggest an alternative venue if possible.

Send your suggestions or feedback by email to electoral.services@lewisham.gov.uk or post to Jamie Baker, Electoral Services, Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 9SE.

What happens next

Once the consultation closes we will review our proposals, taking into account the results of the consultation and your feedback.

We will have a formal meeting of the council on 27 November 2019 to approve the new proposals.

Once this is done we will publish the electoral register with the new proposals included.
