Getting started with a first upholstery project - free taster

If you are keen to learn this creative, absorbing and highly addictive craft, then this introductory session is a perfect starting place! Join freelance Upholsterer and tutor Lisa Faulkner to discover what is meant by traditional or modern techniques, and to have guidance on sourcing and choosing a suitable starter project. Lisa will demonstrate some beginners techniques & you will have the opportunity to try these, as well ask any questions you may have. Either of these courses would be ideal to join: TFD0300GR Upholstery ?beginners/improvers or TFD247SGP Upholstery workshop, both of which start on Tuesday 14th September

The department offers a wide variety of fashion and textile courses at different levels.
