Life drawing - 1, 2, 3 - multi model medley

In this exciting new course you will have the opportunity to draw from 3 life models at once! We’ll spend the first two weeks with one model, the second two weeks with 2 models and the last two weeks will be spent with 3 models! Each class will be run as a traditional life drawing session, with a series of short poses, themes and gestural drawing, working up to a long pose. Themes across the course will include measuring and “sight size”, angles and proportion, capturing light and shade, mark making – hatching, cross hatching, blending and lifting out, portraiture, and how to draw hands and feet. If you’re new to life drawing don’t worry – we will build up gradually from one model to three, and the tutor will be on hand to offer support and guidance. Please be aware the classroom for this course is on the first or second floor of the Brockley Rise Centre. We are in the process of arranging for the lift to be replaced, so temporarily there is no lift access. If you have mobility issues please contact our enquiries line 0208 3143300 or email adultlearning@lewisham.gov.uk for help and advice before enrolling.
