The Council is delighted to award its first Honorary Aldermen and Alderwomen of Lewisham. This prestigious honour was bestowed upon Dr Mee Ling Ng OBE, Jim Mallory, Obajimi Adefiranye, and Stella Jeffrey, for their years of dedication to the borough of Lewisham.

We have launched a new online benefits calculator tool that could help people access their share of the £23 billion of benefits that goes unclaimed every year.

In response to rising antisocial behaviour (ASB) and complaints, the Council has confirmed a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to tackle ASB, with a focus on hot spots across the borough.
